About Henderson & Coker

Henderson and Coker Company, Inc was founded by Rod Henderson and Harold Coker who worked for the same construction company prior to forming H&C. 

In the fall of 1993, the company was taken over by the two sons of Rod Henderson. Mitch and Scott Henderson had worked for the company since boyhood. They both finished college in Alabama and eventually came back to work in Alexander City and the Lake Martin area. After years of specializing in commercial work and various concrete applications, Henderson and Coker added high end residential construction to their scope of work. They have completed work in all of the gated communities around Lake Martin. 

Along with Mitch and Scott, there are now two more partners. Rod Henderson; the son of Mitch and Chad Carter.  Rod has worked for the company all of his working life and has become a major asset in the field and as a project manager. Chad is an Auburn graduate in engineering specializing in estimation and project management.

We all have the same goal and that is to continue to turn out quality work satisfying every customer both commercially and residentially. We take the customer through the entire process from obtaining permits, sighting the building, all construction and final landscaping. Like us, our team of subs are insured and reliable.
